Trista has been in education for 17 years.  Most of those years were as a middle school science, Bible and math teacher at two Christian schools in California. Trista is a lifelong learner, with two Bachelor's degrees from San Jose State University; one in Psychology and the other in Natural Sciences, as well as a Master’s Degree in Biology from Grand Canyon University in 2019.  Trista moved to Arizona in 2020 where she worked for several public and charter schools in the Phoenix and Glendale areas.  Recently she has been working with homeschooled children and has found this to be very meaningful and rewarding work where she can share her love of Jesus with her students. Trista and her husband Richard, have a beautiful blended family of 6 grown children and 9 grandchildren - one of which attends classes at Ignite. Her family keeps her very busy and brings her much joy.  Most Sundays, you will find many of them gathered around the dinner table for Sunday family dinners.
