Tisha has been a dedicated paraprofessional and homeschooling mom who, along with her husband, has successfully homeschooled her daughter through high school, celebrating her graduation last year from Ignite!

Tisha, aka Mrs. Peña, is a returning tutor who teaches with a heart full of love for Jesus and her family. She is passionate about creating a nurturing learning environment, and she is committed to instilling strong values, curiosity and a love for learning in young hearts. Tisha is a huge advocate for kids and has enormous empathy and compassion for those who cannot speak up for themselves. She works to ensure every child has the support, encouragement, and opportunities they need to thrive.

When she isn’t teaching or working, Tisha loves spending time at home with her family, hanging out with friends, or simply relaxing. She enjoys taking day trips to explore and unwind, and she finds watching movies, listening to soft jazz or reading books to be some of the most relaxing ways to recharge.

Whether through teaching, parenting or community involvement, she strives to make a lasting impact on the next generation.
