Mike Rathier discovered drafting in high school. After learning hand drafting his freshman year, Mike was introduced to AutoCAD, computer drafting. Little did he know that drafting class would turn into his lifelong career. Mike has been using drafting for the last 23 years in Civil Engineering and the telecom fields.  He currently manages a team of 18 people, still using the drafting skills he began learning in high school.

During his senior year of high school, Mike met Erin (one of our directors), his partner in life and ministry. Together, they dedicated 27 years to serving in youth ministry, helping young people navigate life's challenges and grow in their faith. In addition to their ministry work, Mike and Erin have been homeschooling their children for the last 12 years. He is excited to join the Ignite team and help your kids discover the same love of drafting that he discovered in high school!
