Melanie Kilcup earned a Bachelors of Science in Elementary and Special Education through Northern Arizona University and a Masters in Special Education from Grand Canyon University. Melanie was homeschooled herself and loves the homeschool community. In high school, she developed a love for American Sign Language and realized she wanted to teach children with special needs. During college, she had the privilege of using her sign language skills to work with Deaf and hard-of-hearing students in an educational setting. Although Melanie enjoyed working with these students, God directed her to help homeschooled students find a passion for learning as well as a love for the Lord. Outside of tutoring, Melanie is a new mom of a sweet baby girl! During her free time, she enjoys going on dates with her husband, taking care of her daughter, and reading books.
