Kristen Patterson earned her BA from Cal-State San Bernardino on a teaching track in 2006. She has been a substitute teacher, taught English to students in China (online), and has homeschooled her 6 children for 15 years. She currently teaches preschool with her husband of 26 years at their church. Along with homeschooling, she’s also a real estate agent for a small Christian brokerage.

Spending time with her family and church family is a main priority and her favorite thing to do. As a hobby, she loves baking bread from freshly milled grains and making sourdough goodies. God has blessed her with 6 kids, and having a large family is a lot of fun and a lot of chaos. Aside from her oldest son, all of Kristen’s children currently attend Ignite and have been blessed by it.
