Emily Tussey has a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education and a Master’s Degree in Learning Experience Design and Educational Technology. She is a native of Phoenix and has two kids, Benjamin (7) and Claire (5). She taught in public schools for 6 years before taking some time off to be home with her kids. She has enjoyed working with homeschoolers for the last couple of years and is so excited to join Ignite as the Elementary Director. Emily truly has a passion for helping kids learn. She believes that every student learns in a unique way and loves helping each student find their own path.  She attends CCV and is excited to watch God work in the lives of young students.  In her spare time, she loves to garden, read, and be with her family.
