Brad Melton
A long-time Arizona resident, Brad holds a bachelor’s degree in Journalism, a graduate certificate in Christian Apologetics, and master’s degrees in Public History (a.b.t) and Theological Studies. He is pursuing a doctorate in Pastoral Care and writing a book on Christian living.
Brad and his wife, Jennifer, married in 1996. A homeschool father of five, he is ACSI certified and has taught secondary Bible, history, and electives for the Liberty University Online Academy since 2010. In addition to teaching, Brad has worked as a bi-vocational pastor, youth and college pastor, book and magazine editor, non-profit ministry director, and small business owner. He is the co-editor of Arizona Goes to War: The Home Front and the Front Lines During World War II (Univ. of Arizona Press, 2003) and a contributing writer for Arizona Highways magazine.
As a public speaker, Brad has addressed 40,000+ attendees at several hundred churches, homeschool and youth conventions, and history and writing conferences across ten states. Passionate about making learning engaging and impactful, he enjoys transforming complex topics into meaningful lessons for students and adults alike. Guided by his faith, he seeks to develop content that enriches lives and positively impacts the world for Christ.
When he’s not reminiscing about his glory days playing soccer and hockey or teasing his three daughters, you’ll find him reading a book, hiking a trail, or enjoying music from the ’70s to ‘90s—Christian, oldies country, classic rock, new wave, and yacht rock all make his playlist.
